SET UP A NOODLETOOLS PROJECT - You will use NoodleTools to keep track of your sources and compile your Works Cited.
COLLABORATE ON A NOODLETOOLS PROJECT
After ONE group member has created a New Project in NoodleTools, that same student should follow the directions below.

SET UP A NOODLETOOLS PROJECT - You will use NoodleTools to keep track of your sources and compile your Works Cited.
- LOGIN using your regular WCASD username and password
- The revalidation password is knights24
- Click on NEW PROJECT
- TITLE your project & keep MLA and ADVANCED selected & hit SUBMIT
COLLABORATE ON A NOODLETOOLS PROJECT
After ONE group member has created a New Project in NoodleTools, that same student should follow the directions below.
- Next to your project, under the SHARING column, click the + sign.
- Under STUDENT COLLABORATION, click ADD STUDENT.
- Enter the student's USERNAME (ex - 24BoyleC) and keep FULL COLLABORATOR selected and click DONE.
- The project should now appear in each group member's NoodleTools homepage.
- Be sure to enter all group members' usernames.

Sources
Print books and ebooks:
- Use the Library catalog to find print books and ebooks on your case (also check the book cart in the Library)
- ebook passwords are in the Library Schoology group.
- To cite print books in NoodleTools, import by ISBN number. Here is a video tutorial that shows you how to import books into NoodleTools.
- To cite ebooks in NoodleTools, determine if you can export the citation directly to NoodleTools (Gale) or copy and paste (ABC-CLIO, MackinVIA, Salem Press). You may also enter the citation manually after selecting "File, app, ebook" then "ebook." Here is a video tutorial that shows you how to cite ebooks in NoodleTools.

Databases:
- Database passwords are in the Library Schoology group
- To cite sources from databases, follow the directions below each database icon OR access the Library Schoology group for directions and tutorials.
Websites:
- The following websites can be used to research your case.
- Cite in NoodleTools by selecting "Website" then "Webpage." Fill in as much information as possible. If you are citing something other than a webpage, make a different selection in NoodleTools or ask Ms. Boyle.
News:
- We have free access to The New York Times while in the school building.
- WSJ login info is in the Library Schoology group.
- Cite in NoodleTools by selecting "Website" then "Newspaper." Fill in as much information as possible.
Multimedia:
- Video (create or use a clip from an existing video)
- Audio (create or use a clip from an existing sound file)
- Pictures
- Infographic
- Digital book
Teaching/Interactive Tools:
- Discussion Question
- 4 corners
- Kahoot
- Survey or poll
- Short game
